Thanksgiving!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!

HI Everyone! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!! Jon and I did! We woke up and laid around forever watching the Macys parade and drinking coffee.... Then we started cooking around noon and watching the dog show! We made all of our fav Thanksgiving dishes and tried a new one- Pumpkin cheesecake- BEST THING EVER!!! I took a picture of the food!

Then we went to see a Christmas Carol in 3d and it was awesome! And we finally sold the tickets to the Radio City Christmas extravaganza, My uncle scott bought them and my Aunt Sharon and Amanda are going to go! That was a relief, I did NOT want to waste 8o dollars! Um what else is new.. hmm I should have my real estate license approved any day now so I have a TON of stuff to do for that! Well.. not much else is new, we are just super excited to come home for Christmas! We will be in town on the 19th! Anyways we miss our sweet families and love you!

Updates on everything!

Hi Everyone! I miss everyone so bad, sorry that my blog posts are extremely rare! Here are some updates!!

We went to Stoney Lonesome Jeep trails with Ryan & Haley (Jon's friend from work and his wife- they also have a jeep wrangler). We spend the night in an awesome little cabin, went swimming and went on Jeep trails during that weekend! Here are pics and videos!

Next update: My friends Hannah & Kim came to visit, and then Taylor & chelsea came too! Chelsea and taylor only stayed for one day though because they were headed to Destin to her family's condo for her family vaca! So Hannah, Kim, and I went to stay with her family for a couple of days later in the week! I had soOOOO much fun with them! Here is a pic!

Then Hannah & Kim left Saturday morning, so Jon and I had a very relaxing lazy weekend after they left! We went to dinner and a movie on Saturday, went to church on Sunday and then went to our Dave Ramsey class Sunday night! Yes, we are taking Financial Peace University again because we feel like we can apply it more now that we actually have regular income ( it is truly hard to make a cash flow plan without any cash flowing... : ) lol) and once you have paid for the course once, you can take it for free as many times as you want! So wiregrass church is having the class and the first one was last Sunday! we LOVE it! After that (our class gets out at 6) we grilled out some kabobs by the pool! Here are a couple of pics!

I suppose that concludes the updates for now! We are so excited about Will's wedding coming up in a few short weeks! Well.. about 4 I guess! But it will be here before ya know it and we will get to see family! YAY!! BUT no Lydia & Bo : ( Don't know when we will see them next! We are going to Destin again this weekend and staying at our friend Trey's condo so that will be fun. And then the weekend after that, MY SISTER AND MY COUSIN KYLE ARE COMING IN TOWN TO VISIT!!!!! : ) Daniel is coming too but he won't be here until later in the week! And it is Daniels bday and he has softball tournaments in Panama city on Labor Day weekend so we get to go watch him play! So I will blog more about that fun stuff later! Miss you & Love you!

Random Updates!

SO sorry about NEVER updating this! We wanted to creat a blog to keep family and friends updated and we never add any updates or new news! I am about to start rambling so just get ready. I will write whatever pops in my head!

OK, Jon's union almost went on a strike that he would have been forced to participate in but that didn't happen.

BOTH of our cars broke down in the same week but it just ended up being a battery problem and we replaced them both! (Thanks for the AAA membership Mr. Billy!).

I went to the Dr. to have blood tests, endoscopy biopsy thing (EGD Biopsy?), & ultrasound and currently have NO stomach ulcers and other than my red and irritated stomach and esophagus everything is normal! I still have serious acid reflux but I am on the best meds to handle it! And it is healing my tummy!

Last weekend we went to a FL state park and went on some trails and hiking and we were supposed to go inside some really cool caverns but they were booked up for the day! : ( But we will go on our next free weekend so it's ok!

Pacey had ANOTHER ear infection but it's all better after 10 days of ear drops 3 times a day!

I TRIED to get into Troy university for this semester ( really wish I thought of this earlier), but they haven't received my transcript from U of M(which I only sent a request for last week) so unless they got it today, I am too late to attend this semester but should be good to start in Jan and can hopefully graduate Spring of 2011?? MAYBE!

Jon still LOVES his job.

We go on dates on Saturday nights.

We go to Wiregrass church on Sunday mornings.

Jon joined Dothan Ultimate frisbee team!! SOOO fun!!

I still work for my dad from home and I LOVE it... the boys and I go for really long walks and I do laundry and watch my shows (CSI, Gilmore girls, Royal Pains, Law and order, EVERYTHING on hgtv especially any real estate shows!), go grocery shopping, cook, clean, do some more work for daddy, wait for sweet hubby to come home!

THIS weekend the boys, Jon, & I will be going to Oak Mountain outside of Birmingham to go hiking, look at the waterfall, and camp out!! We are SOOOO excited, this will be our first time to go camping with just us!! And I can't believe this is our first time, we both LOVE camping! Oh and Pacey and Bauer do too! And then Sunday we will meet my dad for lunch in Birmingham and I will ride back to Memphis with him and Jon will go home (doesn't want to miss his Ultimate Frisbee game!) I'm thinking I will stay in Memphis until probably Thursday.

NEXT weekend Jon and I are going to Stoney Lonesome offroad trails with Jon's friend Ryan and his wife Hailey! They both have Jeeps and we are going on Jeep trails and staying in a cabin!

Well I think that is about it for now... I will write again and let you know how camping and the Jeep trails go! We love you and miss you!

Just thought I would share some of me rock climbing this is inside the gym on post where I work it's free to AFS employees and it is some serious fun I love it

Okay guy this is BLUE SPRINGS!!! this trip was the most fun I have ever had we met up with all of our new friends 4 of which live in our apartments, it was me, Chels, Hana, Aubrey, Mike, Dan, Selina, Eric and his daughter and wife and their chiuaua I know I mispelled it, Kiel, Beau, and 3 other guys but I forgot their names. Anyway we got up at 8am and drove to my work and they have a 680 acre lake called Tholoco, to rent some Kayaks and you can rent ski boats and pontoon boats and everything. so we got our gear and were on our way it takes about 35 minutes from our place to the gorgeous Blue Springs 3 miles outside Marianna FL. so we got their and I was in shock how beautiful it was, the current was so fast it would take you out if your not careful we all got in our kayaks and headed out on our adventure we didn't even have to paddle the river took you down all we had to do was turn. It was just like Ocoee river there were people tubing and everything. Then mother nature said Jon your dirty you need a Shower and it started Pouring down rain the whole time, all of uswere soaked in seconds and thats when all the fun really started to happen, it was so exciting and fun we were all laughing kayaking and hangin out I couldn't imagine a better time. The water was crystal clear! it takes about 2 1/2 hours to paddle the route and its probably 3 miles or so but we stopped alot and hung out on the side of the river to wait on everybody, but you go all the way down and you see a sign for the take out and there is a parking lot there and designated spots to get your gear its so well designed it's the best spot to go kayak for the day!

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!

Jon and I miss our sweet mamas SO bad today.. : ( We are getting ready for church right now and I just wish I could be right outside my mama's bedroom door with breakfast-in-bed and chocolate covered strawberries with my big sister like I have forever. But anyways, mama I love you! Thank you for being SO wonderful! And now for the second mother's day, I have a new Mom too and she is absolutely WONDERFUL TOO!!!! I love you SO much Mrs. Molly you have been so amazing to me and so kind and sweet even before I was your daughter-in-law and I am so glad we have such a close relationship. Thank you for everything you have done for me and Jon and really hope you enjoy this day.

Mom, you have been the best mom I have ever had!!haha in all seriousness though I can't tell you how much I love you and that I appreciate everything you have done for me, I always think about little things here and there and I am always thinking of my family, I love you mom I havn't forgotten the things you have done it made me who I am, thank you sooooooo much your son loves you a whole whole bunch, happy mom's day!!

Beach Day

This our day at the beach, we had so much fun we went to Panama City this time, but I think we are going to take the extra time to go to Destin, we found so many little creatures there and just listened to the ocean all day and then watched the sunset and went home, it was a blast we also went to this HUGE Alvins island that looks like a rock, and they had live gators and my favorite, a shark tank with a big Nurse shark in it, check out our adventure, have fun!

The place you see with all the trees in the picture is a trail in florida that is absolutely gorgeous and it goes down to the Ecofina river and there is a designated put in for kayaks and canoes and small boats and you can spend the day paddling down river surrounded by beautiful trees

This day was alot of fun we found a bunch of little critters today, it all started with the lizard I found this morning under my kayak in storage, then we found this little dude with jelly like stuff coming out of the shell I tried to pull him out and all this purple stuff sarted coming out it looked like paint so I just let him be after that.

Check out this guy, we found a bunch of these little things they look really cool like itty bitty turtles but they have this weird little head that moves around check it out, we don't know what it is

We were actually in the water a lot today! It was finally warm enough, it felt so good! Then for Dinner we ate at Dirty Dick's Seafood restaraunt and it was AWESOME!!!!!

That is a boat of seafood check out the shrimp coming off the pinnaple Aubrey was scared to eat those guys

I really start to like the beach when the sun is setting, that is the best time to be out there
