A Columbus day update : )

Well Wed. Harper will be 30 weeks along! Last week at the Dr. my belly measures one week larger (consistent every time). That was our last monthly appointment- we have another in 3 weeks, then 2 weeks, then EVERY week until she arrives! I am so so so excited, we are very much ready. We have some awesome new friends Adam and Brandee and Brandee is due on the same day as me and they are having a little boy named Aree!! It is soo much fun to have another pregnant friend to talk about stuff with! We went to the beach with them this weekend:

Harper's room is coming along too! My dad is here visiting and he brought down the rest of her stufff!!

Ahh mondays..

Hey everyone!  It's been a crazy week so far and it's only MOnday!! We had a wonderful, pretty relaxing weekend though! Saturday we just did a little shopping and went to see the SWITCH and it was AWESOME!!! It was so funny and original and I just LOVED that movie so much! Sunday I taught my little kids at church, heard an awesome sermon, and Jon and I signed up for grouplink so we can get plugged in to a small group at church with other couples in our stage of life! Our church doesn't do the traditional sunday school setting, it's small group-focused so we are missing out right now not being in a small group! Anyways then sunday we got some stuff done like... cleaned out & washed our cars... cleaned a lot, took a load of things to our storage building that were taking up too much space in Harper's room! Ski stuff.. camping stuff.. etc. Then went grocery shopping! Fun Sunday! SO Monday.. NOT so fun! I made a cup of coffee and got some work done and got a fresh cup of coffee and went and sat on the edge of the bed to wake jon up and BOOM his knee comes up from under the covers, tossing my VERY fresh cup of coffee all on my lap!! I did not handle it well i screamed and cried- that was pretty much the fastest Jon has ever woken up! lol THEN, Jon broke a mirror on the way to throw it away! Baaaad luck... Jon left really early to go work out- he's been working out EVERY day! Other than that today has been work, work, work! Can't believe I will offically be (medically) six months pregnant on wed. WOW I really don't feel like I'm very big for being 6 months! It is just flying by. I will try to do another post on Wed. for a 24 wk/6 month pregnant post!

OH yea, Saturday, a few things we got while shopping were of course a few things for Harper! Outfits, bows, and a "My story" book!! I love it! I haven't kept a pregnancy journal so this is a cute substitute for Harper and it is SOO cute, I've been working on filling it out for her! Here are a couple of pictures!

Ok, so today we made a new crock pot recipe and it was AWESOME so I am posting it up so everyone can try it out too! 

Hope yall enjoy it as much as we did!

Ingredients:
-4 bone in chicken breasts with skin removed
-salt
-pepper
-lemon pepper
-paprika
-1cup of sour cream
-1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 8 oz fresh sliced mushrooms
-1/4 cup of white wine or chicken broth (we used chicken broth)

After removing the skin, sprinkle the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, lemon pepper, paprika and place in the crock pot.
Mix together remaining ingredients and pour over the chicken pieces.
Cook on low 6-8 hours (we did 8 hours- chicken was very tender)
Serve over rice or egg noodles- we had it with brown rice- jon said we should have added a little butter and salt to the brown rice but I like it plain!

Harper's Crib!

SOOO today we put together sweet Harper's crib! Of course totally Jobrey style we threw away all crib hardware away earlier in the day yesterday! SO late last night when Jon got home, he had to go through our APARTMENT dumpster and dig the hardware box out! Luckily there was a back door so it was pretty easy to get out. : ) ANYWAYS we slept in super late this morning and ate breakfast.. got dinner ready and started it in the crocpot... drank too much coffee... layed around forever.. Jon learned some new stuff on guitar.. and then we put the crib together! The boys were very curious what we were doing in that room! lol Here are some pictures!

Harper Kaylee Tilson!

Hi everyone!!!! Well I'm officially the worst blogger ever! : ) My big sis is trying to make me change my ways- good luck Manda! Well I guess I will just start blabbing about nothing now: JON AND I ARE HAVING A LITTLE GIRL!!!!!!!! IN case you haven't heard yet. It is the best news ever. It squeezes so hard on my heart to think about it... If she was not trying to kick out of my belly right now I don't know if I could believe it's true. : ) Being pregnant has been the best best best time of my life so far. Jon is so awesome and understanding... well there hasn't been that much to be very understanding about. I have generally been a happy bouncy pregnant lady lol. It hasn't been too hard on me at all so I guess it hasn't been too hard on him either! Yay! Her name is Harper Kaylee Tilson! We just picked the name out last weekend! Her precious nursery furniture came in yesterday and we will be putting the crib together in the morning! Jon says his little princess now has a place to sleep! Everyone says they can SO picture Jon with a little girl! I guess i can too! I guess I have NO mother's intuition since I was SO sure that this was a little boy! Poor Harper, I called her a HE about a thousand times! Ummm what else is new.... umm work is awesome, I really love working in new construction! visit our website www.geordandothan.com. Anyways.. that is so not as interesting as my daughter! : ) I will try to think of some more updates and post some soon!
